Hiya Fangs!

Since I had some spare time today I decided to update an old thread which was started by an ex-guildie (Manny) most of the old Fangs would know her. Ths is also a chance for some of the new guildies to learn some of the Fangs' lingo thats gets usually said on GC or wherever else. So here they are. By the way if anyone thinks I have missed out on any terms feel free to add them yourselves.. Smile

007
In GW, James Bond is the bad guy and he has the license to throw you off the servers.

Alice
Someone who leaves the comfort and security of the GH to travel to another dimension known as Flozz.

Badass
Getting yourself a ban from GW for local chat "abuse", and in doing so, precipitating a new rule about Chat Channel usage from A-Net. Ban normally spent relaxing with your wife and eating chicken and chips.

Bah
An expression often used to verbally show their support for the new guild cape or one of the guild leaders jokes.

Bogmaster (or Boggie)
A person with a strong wish to leave everything he has behind in order to start over again in a swamp.

Crafty
The generic term for a PvP build that goes horribly wrong. For example: "I botched my build - I'm a beastmaster but don't have a pet." (screenie available on request :p)

Dorks
A Wammo legend handed down through generations - mythical outpost rumoured to be somewhere in the Southern Shiverpeaks. 98.7% success rate.

Dungeon Keeper
A person with a strong desire to leave his beautiful home to live in a tomb.

Hyperspace (tm)
1 part Spiked Eggnog and 1 part Shamrock Ale (other kinds of ale can potentially be used as well).

Ice-cream
The very essence of Espion. Very Happy

INCOMING
Often used officer shout when there is a new recruit coming in. Mostly followed by the *ducks* emote

IRL
A mythical place rumoured to exist in an alternative reality. According to legends it’s a horrible place mostly used to scare kids with in sentences like “If you don’t eat your Drake Kebob, Shiro will come and banish you to IRL”. IRL is of course nothing but the product of sick and twisted minds and it DOES NOT exist. Sometimes also referred to as the “real world” or “real life”.

Kinky Pinky
A forgotten hero from the lands of Cantha, legends tells of this forgotten hero to be of the Ritualist profession. Some peasants claim they have spotted this hero dancing in the guild hall of a legendary guild named: The Monstrous Fangs.

Lol
Mostly used by people to recognize that something funny has been said. Some use it in an attempt to soften up something they say that could otherwise sound harsh or rude. There are extreme cases of persons using “lol” instead of punctuation after every sentence.

NSFLF
Not Safe for Little Fangs.

Pen-eater
Is it Nice to eat other people’s pens and pencils?

Pie
A holy item worshipped and devoured by many a guildie.

Purple Ronnie
Someone who just wasted a lockpick getting something as exotic as a req. 13 death magic staff, which halves casting time of communing spells and has +13% damage against smurfs.

PWNAGE
I pwn, you pwn, we pwn. Some people shout this after defeating their enemies.

Sexy
A term usually used by one particular guildie (Rion) to show his interest in the female guildies but also stands for Strategic Encounters XY-movements (used as a GvG term)

SF
A term used by Espion to make fun of her fellow guildie which happens to be a purple sin.

SGOLN
An acronym that stands for “Syd, Go Offline Now!” Mostly said by Doggie when the Fangs are in a sexy mood.

SH
Not Savannah Heat, but Sexy Hours. Time spent in the GH (will usually be late evening) making the female guildies go weak at the knees with a BURNing desire. Got to be a Belgian male for maximum effect.

“That Small Blue Short Ass Monk”
A name usually given to male monks with little to no clothes who has blue tattoos across his body. Also known as our guild leader

Tin can (or Tuna can)
Those cute little warriors hiding inside layers of (often black) metal. Makes a distinct sound when hit upon. They are quite handy to have on your travels. Just put the tin can down where you expect the enemies to pass and they will start bashing away on it in attempt to open it and see what’s inside.

Towel Dispenser
A magical artefact, which will dry your hands (or any other body part) if you hold them still under it for 3 or 4 hours. It is much more energy efficient, but probably not as fast as an electrical dryer.

TPSOL
An acronym for “The Pink Side Of Life”. This is where a small handful of guildies show their appreciation and love for the best and sexiest colour in the world. But their main mission is to bring down the “evil” purple lovers.
